Every advertisement should be thought of as a contribution to the complex symbol which is the brand image.

The Swoosh; Just Do It; the half bitten Apple; the red colour on any 'Coca Cola' script, the 'Three Stripes', 'Have a break'; doesn't the very mention ring a bell? Things as fundamental as a name, a logo, a slogan, the type of script, the colour have the potential to make or break an enterprise. All these taken together form the brand of a company. If successful, the brand goes on to become the face of the company.
It fabricates associations and expectations around it. It communicates the organization's strategies and goals. It determines how a customer will perceive its product or line of products. "A great brand raises the bar-- it adds a greater sense of purpose to the experience, the affirmation that the cup of coffee you're drinking really matters."
Branding has become an vital part of marketing any product. The marketing strategies, a brand's creation, its maintenance, its recognition, its value, the study is vast and extensive, yet inevitable. It ascertains your creativity as you design various formats for an advertisement campaign

    It tests your creativity and ability to conceive a brand with name, logo and ad in the given situation. Creativity has no limit; the most appealing project takes the bounty!

    The list of products to choose from are :

    • Herbal Coffee
    • Shoe Polish
    • Face Wash
    • After Shave Lotion
    • Wrist Watch
  • This is a team event and the maximum number of participants in a team can be four.
  • The next part will be in two rounds-Posters round and Role play round.
  • In Poster round, team has to design an innovative poster based on any product given. They have to bring their own magazines for cuttings (if they want) or in what ever way they want to design their poster with brand logo and tag line. Stationary, poster will be provided to them. They have to bring their own colours.
  • In the role play round, teams have to present an advertisement on the stage in the form of a role play. The time for the role play should be less then 5 minutes and the team will be given 30 minutes to plan their role play.
  • The props have to be brought by participants. No props will be provided by SRM-IMT.
