Hacking Demonstration on Computer Security (HD) is a platform and opportunity for student and computer security organization to promote their new solution and idea to public about computer security. From here, people will be updated with the new computer security product such as firewall, antivirus, and others. Companies will also have a chance to get new customer through their product selling.

The event will discuss an issue that rapidly happened in computer security field. It will discuss more detail in technically about computer security issue.
The aim of Hacking Demonstration on computer security (HD) is to help public people from non-IT background to become more realize about the cyber crime that happened everyday. Now days, most of the people use computer to run their work, but sometimes they does not realize that they become one of the attacker victims. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for them to learn more about computer security world and learn how to make their organizations more secure when working with cyber world environment.

This competition is also about personal computer modification and adjustment both in the security aspect.

Basically , in this program, students (group of 3 persons) will be presenting about their project regarding computer security relevant to any type of security systems be it mobile security, network security, corporate security, e-mail security, windows security, Internet security …… etc to the panel of Judges and security consultant. Student will join the event from day 1 until day 3. The main purpose of this program is to give a chances for the student to expose their work and project that have been done by them in computer security field. Beside of that, student also have an opportunity to improve their presentation skill to make company become more confident with their idea. From there, company can found new solution or idea in computer security problem. More over, company can hire student to work with them after the student finished their study.

Participant can display their security talent and awareness, who have the urge to change the security issues in this world can provide us simply through a presentation displaying innovative ideas and providing us with the steps to counterattack or defend or make the system secure or replace the existing culture of security. The objective is to make the student think how to become creative and how to make their machine secure enough for the cyber world.

Participant: Open to all public or private education institute student. (limited to first 30 groups only)
Group: 2 persons per group
Topic: Any computer security related issue. It is recommended you show some new idea / solution in solving computer security problem.
Time Limit: 10 mins
The event will also witness simultaneous cross-questioning from the panel of judges and the security consultant after the presentation. Credits will be awarded on the basis of both.

• Social Engineering is not allowed ( a penalty will be imposed ).
• No discussion with the other groups will be permitted ( a penalty will be charged )
• The result from the jury cannot be argued.
• The enrolled teams are requested to be alert and aware of the event schedule being published on the event website.
• The winner will be decided at the end of all rounds of the demonstration. Whoever has the maximum number of point’s wins.
