.NET is a modest attempt by Microsoft to present a comprehensive and revolutionary technology in a simple, concise and easy to understand manner. Knowledge of .NET is helpful in working with Integrated Development Environment. So our event named as .NET WIZARD will provide an excellent platform to explore the dormant talent of .net programming among the students. In this event students can enjoy themselves along with acquiring some great learning experiences. And on top of that some fabulous prizes are to be won. So think out of the box, widen your horizons, give it all you've got & you might just crack the code at the end of the day.

NET is the only thing you need be proficient at in order to participate in this grueling competition during INNOVATE-2008.

Event will be totally based on .NET and .NET Framework. All the questions will be from VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Web Designing using .NET, Use of SQL in .NET. There will be two rounds. Event will be completed in two days (7th & 8th mar).

SKILL CHECKER

This round will take 30m.
There will be 50 multiple choice questions.
+4 marks will gifted for every correct answer but you will lose -1 mark for each wrong answer.
There will be a cut-off mark and students will have to cross that cut-off to get selected for the next round.
Total marks will be 200.
Result will be announced within 1 hour.
Selected group will move towards to the next round.

CODE MARATHON

Groups will be given some programs for coding.
Each group will get 1hr.time to finish it.
There will be a judge who will decide the best programs.
Decision of the judge will be the last decision.
No claim will be entertained after the result is announced.

• The teams must adhere to the spirit of HEALTHY COMPETITION. Judges reserve the right to disqualify any team found indulging in misbehaviour.
• Judges' decision shall be final and binding on all.
• The organizers reserve the rights to change any or all of the above rules as they deem fit. Change in rules, if any will be highlighted on the website and notified to the registered participants..

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate in .NET WIZARD at INNOVATE-08.

CERTIFICATE POLICY:

Certificate of Excellence will be given to all the winners.
