“INNOVATE ’08”, the tech fest of SRM (Modinagar) is a grand stage to show your creative ideas and innovation. We have a committed and responsible team who will arrange for your registration, accommodation, food and miscellaneous needs. Hospitality Cell will always be there for your assistance. In case of any queries and clarifications please feel free to contact Hospitality Cell. We offer accommodation to the participating students from other colleges on First Come, First Serve Basis.

Accommodation will not be provided to local participants.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Online Registration

Register yourself for Accommodation, at the time of registering for various events of “INNOVATE’08” in our website (www.techinnovate.org). After your online registration for accommodation, please mail us at our e-mail id rahul@techinnovate.org the following details:

• Name of the participant along with the college details.
• Various events for which you have registered.
• Expected date and time of arrival here (SRM, Modinagar)
• Additional Information
• You will be issued an “INNOVATE’ 08” ID- CARD when you reach our campus and register yourself.

Please keep ID card with you at all times during the two days of the tech fest.
“INNOVATE ’08” ID- CARD without the college ID- CARD will be considered invalid. In the event of any untoward incident or misbehaviour of any kind, “INNOVATE ’08” team reserve the right to take any punitive action as suitable & necessary and cancel the participation of the concerned college. Instruction for students seeking accommodation.

A fee of Rs. 300/- per participation will be collected towards registration for accommodation at the Registration Desk. The fee will cover fooding and lodging expenses for 3 days i.e. 9th, 10th and 11th March, 08. Please bring your college ID- Card with 2 photographs (passport size) of each participant.

Last Date of Online Registration for accommodation is 6th March, 08. No further request will be entertained after the last registration date.

HOW TO REACH SRM (MODINAGAR) CAMPUS.

• You can reach SRM (Modinagar) by train/ bus/ auto or call taxi, after reaching Ghaziabad Junction. The auto and call-taxi stands are present as soon as you exit the platform.
• From New Delhi railway station, Modinagar is well connected by roadways and railways. From New Delhi you must have to reach Kashmiri gate by metro or bus. To reach Modinagar, one will have to catch the bus from Kashmiri gate (Delhi-Meerut road). It takes an hour for the journey to Modinagar bus stand. From there you can easily get auto to reach SRM campus.
  

FAQ’s

What about my accommodation at SRM (Modinagar) campus?
We have 5 boy's hostels and 2 girl's hostel on the campus. The boys and girls of your team would be accommodated separately. The faculty can stay along with the team members. However, special arrangements can be made for the faculty at their interest, and request.

What are mess arrangements?
Arrangement for mess will be a part of accommodation in the hostel. Charges for mess are included in the registration fee.

What will be the duration of stay?
Students can arrive only one day before or the actual day of the event. They can stay on for 9th,10th & 11th of March. The participants are requested to vacate their respective rooms by 12th March morning.

What about the security inside the campus?
We have a private security agency named Varsed. The security wards are highly trained and vigilant. Apart from this cameras cover each and every corner of the campus keeping an eagle’s eye at the security system.

What shall I bring with me?
We will provide you with mattresses, pillows and bedspreads etc. for your stay. You MUST bring your institute ID-Card along with you. Participants of various events should bring whatever they require for their respective events. Regarding this you can e-mail the respective co-ordinators of the events.

The SRM (MODINAGAR CAMPUS)

• Is located on Delhi- Meerut Road.
• Is about 21 kilometers from Ghaziabad Junction.
  

The bus stand is located outside the Ghaziabad station. Hire auto to reach bus stand. Board the Delhi- Meerut Bus and disembark in front of the SRM Campus.
